What does our Board of Directors do?
The Kalkaska Conservation District Board of Directors is an elected 5 member authority board to oversee District operations. They meet monthly to review budgeting information, accounts payable, and District operations. Currently, the board meets on the 3rd Monday of each month beginning promptly at 5:00 pm. All meetings will be held at the District Office unless otherwise noted.

Budget Hearing for Fiscal Year 2026 for the Kalkaska Conservation District
The proposed budget of the Kalkaska Conservation District for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026, will be presented to the Kalkaska District Board for final approval at its regular business meeting at 5:00 p.m., on Monday, September 15, 2025. The public is invited to comment on the proposed budget at this time. Copies of the proposed budget are available at the Kalkaska District Office, located at 403 South Cedar St, Suite A, Kalkaska MI 49646, or online at kalkaskaconservation.org.
