Roselow crabapples grow 8-12 feet tall. They tolerate partial shade but prefer full sun. Roselow crabapple grow best in moist, well-drained soils, but can stand a variety of soil types. The small red fruit persists through winter, making it great wildlife food. Young trees should be protected from deer browse.
These crabapple seedling are the best addition to any orchard or wildlife food plot area. We’ve upped the anty are offering specimens that range from 1-2 feet tall They will best be planted by hand not with a mechanical planting device as they are too large to fit into most planters.
Roselow Sargent Crabapple tree will grow to 8-12 feet tall and are an excellent food source for native pollinator species. Tress will have beautiful small white flowers in the spring and form small fruits by the end of summer. They aren’t the best eating for humans because they are bitter tasting but the small red fruits persist into the winter months. Birds will go crazy for it in January and February!
Grows best in full sun sites but can tolerate partial shade.
