These bundles of Elderberry are best suited for landscaped settings. This year to seedlings are 6-12” tall but will be fast growers!
Elderberries are a deciduous shrub that can grow to a height of 5-12 feet in ideal conditions. It prefers ‘wet feet’ and moist fertile soil. In the spring it will produce white fragrant flowers and by end of summer have a small purple-black berry.
Elderberry is a favorite among wildlife, especially birds that love the berries. It is edible to humans too, so be sure to get to the berries before the birds!
