Soil Testing

from $18.00

Looking to give your garden, lawn, or food plot an extra boost this year? Complete a soil test to know the exact amendments you need.

Sampling protocol:

-Be sure to label each bag with the location (if you are sampling from multiple locations).

-We have a core/auger tool that you may borrow and will make quick work of sampling. A spade shovel or trowel works very well also (and you probably already have at home).

-The steps are as follows: Dig a small v-shaped hole, take a thin (1/4 inch or so) slice with the shovel, and put that soil in the bag. You can take a few samples and average them out to get a representative sample of the yard, garden, or field.

-Aim for a snack-sized to quart ziplock bag worth of soil although for each sample location.
