This is a great conservation tree.

White spruce will mature at 75 feet tall & have a spread of 10-20 feet. They prefer full sun site conditions. and will do okay in dry soil but prefer loamy more fertile soil.

White spruces are commonly used for windbreaks because they do grow well in many settings. Birds love the cones for forage and branches provide great thermal cover in the winter months.
