Didymo, aka Rock Snot, is an emerging invasive species in Kalkaska County in the Manistee River.

Join us with Sam Day, a water quality biologist with the Little Traverse Bay Bands of Odawa Indians to learn more about it.

Sam will cover why it's harmful to the watershed and our local fishery, strategies for treatment, and ways to prevent it from spreading further. CAKE CISMA will also join us in the talk about how they are working to prevent its spread and be a part of the conservation conversation.
