Join the Kalkaska Conservation District in collaboration with the Kalkaska County Library for “Beyond the Coop: Chickens for Sustainable Living” presented by Renee Penny, Kalkaska Conservation District Manager and chicken aficionado. Meet us at Garfield Branch Library (located inside the Garfield Township Hall) located at 466 Sharon Rd SE, Fife Lake, MI on Monday, April 14 from 2-3pm.
Whether you're a seasoned poultry enthusiast or just getting started with backyard chickens, this event is designed to broaden your perspective on the multifaceted contributions these incredible creatures can make to a sustainable lifestyle.
