Michigan Conservation District Day 2026 is officially recognized on July 17, 2026, commemorating the 83rd anniversary of the state signing conservation districts into law, which followed the 1930s Dust Bowl. The day honors the work of over 75 districts that provide local natural resource management, including invasive species control, water quality protection, and forestry services.
