Native Plant Sale

  • Kalkaska Conservation District 406 South Cedar Street Kalkaska, MI, 49646 United States (map)

We are partnering with our friends at Birdsfoot Native Nursery to bring you a wide variety of Michigan-grown native wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs to add to your landscape!

On Thursday, September 18 we will be set up on the sidewalk outside the Kalkaska Conservation District office (406 S Cedar St, Kalkaska) from 2-6pm!

Available plants include Goldenrod, Yarrow, Bergamont, Fireweed, and Elderberry. Stop by on September 18th to browse the full selection. Plants are first come, first served; no pre-orders or holds.

We accept payment via cash, card, or check.

Whether you're restoring a pollinator habitat, starting a rain garden, or simply adding beauty and biodiversity to your backyard, native plants are a smart and sustainable choice.

Why Choose Native Plants?

  • Support local pollinators, birds, and wildlife

  • Require less water and maintenance

  • Improve soil health and prevent erosion

  • Preserve Michigan’s unique ecological heritage

Let’s keep Kalkaska beautiful one native plant at a time!
