We’ve got you covered!

Join the Kalkaska Conservation District and the Kalkaska County Library for a free grant writing workshop designed to help Kalkaska County landowners prepare successful grant applications.

We’re excited to welcome special guest Dr. John T. Sherrill, a successful 2024 mini-grant recipient, Kalkaska native, and grant writing instructor at Michigan Tech (MTU) in Houghton. Dr. Sherrill will walk us through the key components of the application process, including how to:

  • Develop a strong project narrative

  • Create a clear, realistic budget

  • Tell your story effectively

  • And other helpful grant writing tips & tricks

Location: Garfield Branch Library / Garfield Township Hall (466 W Sharon Rd, Fife Lake, MI)

Cost: FREE and open to the public
