Update: We are canceling this evening's hike due to the unusually high heat index we're experiencing. While we'd love to explore the North Country Trail with everyone, it's best we head caution to the heat advisory in effect.

Join us for an evening hike! It's good for your mind, body, and soul to hike with good-natured people AND it'll keep us honest to our NYE resolutions!
Meet at the NCT Trailhead on the North Branch of the Boardman River at South River Road SW, Kalkaska, MI. Look for "Conservation District Event" signs!
The weeknight hikes are rain or shine event series. Unless of course, there is severe inclement weather like a thunderstorm or a ‘cats and dogs’ sort of rain. If the event needs to be canceled, it will be posted on the District Facebook events page.
Well-behaved pets are allowed on a leash to join us for this 3 miles out and back style hike on the North Country Trail.
