Meet at the Upper Manistee Headwater Preserve: The Milock Family Preserve, located off Grass Lake Road, just east of Co Rd 612 and Co Rd 571 (AKA Pothole Corners) in Kalkaska, MI. See the image below for directions, clicking on the image will enlarge it. Look for "Conservation District Event" signs!
We'll hike/snowshoe/xc ski depending on trail conditions and hiker preferences for a total hike of 2-2.5 miles.
This is a snow or shine event unless a severe winter weather or a Winter Weather Advisory is in effect.
