We will be working with the Boardman River Clean Sweep to get the Manistee River cleaned of trash from the M-72 Landing (across the street from Shel-Haven Canoe Rental) to Yellow Trees. Those interested should meet at the DNR Boat Launch on M-72. District staff will assist with shuttling boats and vehicles.
If we have enough volunteers we will split the group into two, one group will clean M72 to Hole in the Wall, and a second group from Hole in the Wall to Yellow Trees.
This event is BYOB (bring your own boat).
We will supply grabber tools for picking up litter, but please bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and whatever else you may need for a day on the river.
