Whether you came to our Forest Owner Field Day on August 25th or not, you’re invited for a follow-up session with KCD board member and logger, Sam Fahl.
Sam has been managing the 40 acres owned by Kalkaska County off of Adams Road for over 20 years (since March of 2000). Join him for a morning in the woods to hear about his data collection, research, what it all means, and how it can relate back to your own woods.
This property is dense forest and to get to the location of the plots, we will have to walk a short distance through it. Please consider wearing closed toe shoes and long pants. Bring your own water/beverage and anything else you may need for a morning in the woods.
We will park on Adams Road (there will be KCD event signs out), but please try to carpool if you can!
This event will take place rain or shine. In the event of severe inclement weather, we will reschedule.
