Weeknight Hikes

Join us for an afternoon stroll on the North Country Trail!

This month we’ll hike 2.5 miles in an out and back fashion where the trail crosses mile marker 705 just off South River Road SW. We’ll meet near the 4x4 post of the trail crossing the road and spur trail entrance. You can scope out trail information on the NCTA website here. The spur trail is not listed on the NCTA trail maps at this time, it is approximately a half-mile long.

We are moving the event to be earlier in the afternoon to accommodate the Autumnal equinox and diminishing daylight hours.

Look for "Conservation District Event" signs and the blue blazes! Staff will arrive 25 minutes prior to the event starts, a blue Conservation District vehicle will be parked at the starting location.
