Adopt-A-Highway Summer Cleanup

  • Kalkaska Conservation District 406 South Cedar Street Kalkaska, MI, 49646 United States (map)

LEND A HAND, SAVE THE LAND!

We have adopted a three mile stretch of highway along M-72 just west of Kalkaska and we'd love your help in getting it cleaned up! We will focus on one side of the highway at a time, as time and weather allow.

Please meet at the District Office (406 S. Cedar St, Suite A, Kalkaska) to caravan/carpool to the adopted section.

Volunteers need to be able to walk on uneven terrain on the side of the highway for 2-3 hours. Closed-toe shoes are required; long pants are recommended.

Equipment (gloves, safety vests, grabbers tools) are provided.

RSVP's are welcomed but not required. RSVP by filling out the form below or by calling the KCD office at (231) 258-3307.

**In case of inclement weather and rain, we will reschedule.**
