We need your ears to help us survey and listen for frogs and toads in the wetlands of Kalkaska County! Join us with Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies at dusk and be chorused by Spring Peepers and Bull Frogs. These listening surveys give a good representation of local frog and toad populations. A full report of prior years survey results can be provided upon request and is found on the Department of Natural Resources website.

Carpool with us to 10 sites to complete this Citizen Science project.  Prior experience is helpful but not necessary. Please email Renee at reneee.penny@macd.org for audio files of the frog and toads that we may hear. You can also get them here.
