Tire Collection Day

Hosted by the Kalkaska County Recycling Center

Back by popular demand is the Recycling Center’s Tire Collection Day. This event is open to all Kalkaska County residents (proof of residency is required).

• Limit 10 tires per household FREE of charge to Kalkaska County Residents.

• Tires accepted until semi trailers are full. 

• Any tires after that are subject to regular disposal rates. 

• Auto/Truck Tires $3.00 unmounted and $4.00 if on rim. 

• No commercial business or heavy equipment tires.

• We cannot accept tires larger than 4 feet tall or 12 inches wide.
